Welcome

Ten Forty Six Farms (formally Magnolia Rose Farms), we’re invested in small farming. We're founded on family first and are centric in our beliefs in feeling good about the food you eat! It should be local, it should be fresh and there should be equity in access.

1046 Darst Road was purchased back in 2004 by the matriarch of our family, Cheryl Elizabeth Hill; whose original dream was for us to homestead. And as our family grew we would give back to the land, the community and grow it into a home, a business, a place of respite as a family. Imagine laughs, holidays, working hand and hand, celebrations, hard trials and solemn moments but as family and on your land that is a piece of all of you. That's the Hill family!

Life got in the way for 17 years. We've experience new births, graduations, weddings, divorce, health issues, family tribulations that separated us and hardships that brought us back together. As the youngest Hill of three and with two children of my own, I am launching Magnolia Rose Farms to bring my mother's original dream into fruition. Black-Owned, Women-Owned, and Founded in Family.

Ten Forty Six Farms is a local farm with 2 grow test sites in Richmond, Texas and future large scale operation site in Beasley, Texas on 12.4 acres. We're black-owned and women-operated specializing in the production of honey, medicinal herbs, oilseed and specialty crops via traditional and aquaculture methods.

As a new boutique farm located in Fort Bend County we're venturing into the sustainable agriculture industry to produce diversified crops that support health, nutrition and wellness in the local rural community and neighboring cities.
